I'm Hannah Hutson, a junior in the IB Program at George Washington High school.
Besides art, I enjoy playing volleyball and I'm currently on the Varsity team for my school. I spend my time trying new things and being heavily involved in my school and community. As far as clubs and organizations go, I'm currently a member of NHS, FBLA, VOA, IBLA, PIT Crew, Ambassadors, Art Club, and pep club to name a few. I know, a lot of acronyms, most of these clubs are centered around volunteer work and improving the school. I'm a very visual learner, and understand something best when I'm able to take notes and then apply my knowledge. I like Arizona tea and pizza rolls. Someday I hope to attend UCLA and major in biochemistry if I get my life together.
Art has always been a major part of my identity, and it was the first thing I would mention when I was asked to talk about myself. My favorite thing about being an artist is having continous room for improvement. There are always new skills to learn, new things to try, new colors to experiment with. One of the most satisfying things is to look through old sketch books and redo the drawings on a separate paper, and then repeat the next year. I've grown so much as an artist since I began at the age of 13, and I'm excited to keep improving and learning over the course of these next two years.
